Any one else think that dynas with just bags look funny? My wife suggested I get some bags, cause strapping my backpack the cushion-less sissy bar frame looks sketchy and trashy. I like the idea, but have yet to come across a set that doesn't look like tumors.....or do I stand alone in this?
I'd rather have bags than a back pack. Depends on the bags. I don't mind mine (were a throw in from previous owner) but if I were buying out of pocket I'd be buying the big als defender repops
yes, bags do take away from the looks, but I like to travel and ride my bike, not just to leave in the garage and look at. on the other hand, I have easy brackets on my bags, they can be removed in seconds, leave minimal hardware.
I'm with you on this. My Dyna's never have and never will have bags on them; if it doesn't fit in my pockets I apparently don't need it, but I am something of a minimalist. I've never seen a Dyna with bags that looked decent, if I really find I started to need bags I'd buy a Street Glide...

I'm with that, I'd actually prefer not having them, but my bike is a daily commuter for work and weekend runs an such.
It's a workin man's bike not a bar hopper anymore.
I guess if I could swing it some quick-detach would be nice, but they want too much $$$ for taste.
