I've been searching all over the webbernet for a heart & flame shift linkage for my Switchback, but I can't find anyone who makes one. Even Street Custom Motorcycle doesn't have any for the FLD, & they were mentioned in another thread.
Thanks for the help.

I did quite a bit of searching for a flame shift linkage for my Wide Glide and I don't recall ever seeing a flame and heart. I ended up using a + 3" extended billet tribal flame with heim joints.
The billet is 11 3/4", with the heim joints adjusted as close as possible the hole to hole OAL is 15 7/8", I had to adjust the shift lever a spline or two but no issues other than that. One benefit of the longer shift rod linkage is you've got more clearance to remove the oil filter, with the stock setup it was tight, more clearance less chance of a mess when you remove the oil filter.
I used 5/16 - 24 bolts and the stock acorn nut on the front and polished stainless steel washers as spacers to be certain the shift rod linkage was running parallel to the primary; I added the Kuryakyn chrome 1068 transmission shift arm to dress it up a bit more.
I hope you can track down a flame and heart linkage for your FLD, even if you can't changing the shift linkage out for a setup using heim joints is always a better idea; that cheap linkage HD uses is basically junk
