I just bought a seat locally i got a good deal but im not at home and i am thinking it will not work with my bike it is a 99 lowrider. i think the front mouting tabe is supposed to be male and this one is female i will post picture. Any help is appreciated need to know ASAP cause i can take it back if it wont work and they have another one that i dont like as much but i think it will fit
Nope. Take it back. The frame changed sometime after 99. I haven't got a good date, but the 99 definitely has a different front seat mount and lower/rear tank mount. I dont have the pictures on my phone but I can upload some tonight to show the correct seat if you need.
I can tell you if thats a Saddleman Profiler Gel you're going to love it. Just make sure your fender is well protected with the film, it will leave rub marks. I have one and its incredibly comfortable. I also have the Mustang Tripper Solo and I find the same all day comfort with it also. But then I rode tri bicycles on a tiny piece of carbon fiber for a 100 miles lol.
Here are the pics of the second seat i went and traded for. Its a saddlemen seat. It was for a wide glide but it fit Kinda. The mounting tab at back of seat is too long so i had to move it forward a hole which means only one bolt is holding the rear mounting tab in place for now. This was a discontinued saddlemen seat i guess been sitting in parts shop for a long time. Still new in the box. But got it for 99.99 Not sure if like those metal studs, Might be growing on me for that price i will live with them. Seat is gel seat and feels way better
