"All these temp gauges are a waste of money unless your bike has a history of overheating regularly."
Yup, and there's no need to to check your tire pressure unless you get flats regularly.
Information is a luxury you don't need, mostly.
.
Good try.. but try a better analogy. Tires lose air overtime in weeks easily...so your a + b word game Doesn't work.
Let's play word games. It's like a 21 year old wearing a blood pressure monitor on his arm when he is at no risk of a high blood pressure and his doctor is saying your healthy every check up. Sure information is cool, but u just are wearing something that isn't necessary in this case. If you are a 70 year old guy...damn wear every device u can to monitor your body, your at higher risk.
All I'm saying is if your bike is in good shape...these things are frivolous.
I'm not saying don't buy one...just consider what function it serves. Does it serve a valid function on your current bike or add any glitz or glam? Just trying save someone $150 and use that on something possibly else like better value tech mods or flashy fashion mods.

I'll leave it to others to judge whether checking tire pressures and/or 21 year olds wearing sphygmomanometers constitute "word games" in this context.
But in the mean time, I'll go and disconnect my $10 oil pressure light, 'cos I'm not destroying $800 big-ends "regularly".

Lol u totally missed the mark again. Heck for $10 sure go knock yourself silly and buy whatever gauge u want. That the cost of a fruity latte at Starbucks.
The OP wants to buy a $150 gauge. I'm just trying to relay to the OP before u buy, think whether if it's really required for your bike. It's the OP hard earned $150.
Let me help u put back on your $10 gauge. Now sit back and relax.
