I finally got my bags mounted via the Easy Brackets last weekend. Will post pics later, but i'm looking for two small parts now. First, and foremost, because i had to move the turn sigs, i lost the stock piece of sheet metal that the registration sticker is on. I've seen in some of the pics on the board that some of you have that piece mounted to the back wheel on the bolt, a little piece that holds the registration. Aside from that, i don't know where else to mount it.
The other is a drink holder. I've checked out the handle bar mounted holders and am not willing to pay $50 for the HD and wasn't to impressed with the others i found online. It'll be used mostly for coffee cups when riding to work in the am. I've considered jerry-rigging some kind of strap on the inside of one of the bags, but wanted to know if anyone had any other suggestions. i've seen the add-on pieces you can attach to the outside of the bags, but didn't know if they were large enough to accomodate a togo coffee container.
i like the Kruzer Kaddy. holds about anything i want to drink, can, bottle or coffee tumbler with lid. Looks good and the chrome can can be easily removed when not using. I wanted something that didn't look jerry-rigged so didn't get some of the cheaper ones that are available. there is another one that is a chrome ring that the coffee tumbler fits into, but didn't work with cans or water bottles.
