cheap air filter
Just wondering if there are recommendations for a cheap stage 1 air clean, something that I can wash and re-use the element is ideal.
No need the fancy RSd stuff.

Most of the filter elements are washable,
Watch the classifieds here, the Dyna parts and the Multi-fit sections. Folks are changing up for a lot of reasons and list things. I got one of the Screaming Eagle stage 1 systems for $50, bought a new gasket and a few O-rings from HD and all's good.

I just switched from a Ness Big Sucker to a DK Customs Outlaw 587 AC. The Ness was top quality, but I couldn't stand the breather system venting into the intake. At some point, I'll post up the Ness in the classifieds here soon.
