I've had a lot of luck on eBay - bought one for my sporty and my street bob and loved them both. one saved my bike in a kickstand error tip-over - only damage was to the paint on the bars. paid around $150 and got it in black - looked decent on the bike and allowed me to mount highway pegs. 
I painted the hardware with black spray paint (didn't like the stainless look on my blacked out bike/crash bar) and it worked well.
