HD quick-release fairing clamp question

I'm installing a HD quarter fairing with the Bunk king kit and HD chrome quick release clamps. One of the clamps is the keyed version. I'm looking for advice on the best location and position of the key slot for ease of use. Any one? Thanks

I installed mine on the lower L.H. side, however wherever you want to install it, should not matter.

I installed mine on the upper left, that way the key side is up on top. I think anywhere is fine, except the upper right. Key side would be down, and inside the fairing.

Bottom right, key hole points down to help keep it clean.

Ha, ok everyone is different. Thanks. I want to be sure I don't put it wear I can't get at it. Did anyone put Loctite on those clamps where they mount to the Bung Kings?
