Just bought the krator 1/4 fairing and was wondering if anyone has installed it on their 49mm front end. Just clamps needed, I'm guessing I won't need the bung king brackets like my fxdb with the original HD 1/4 fairing. Thanks in advance for the help
39mm vs 49mm front end is the difference in those years and your bike. are you saying they list it to fit a 39mm front end assembly and yet have made it to fit a 49mm? thus making there advertisement of years it fits to be false?
Just got my quick HD clamps and installed on the wife's fxdls. Only had to buy four 5/16x24x3/4" long and washers. Made a 1" tall spacer from aluminum bar stock from work to raise the headlight but did not install it. Because I have to get a 3/8"x 3 1/4" long. It does line up without the spacer.

This fairing looks awesome. Looking to order one also. Do you have any complaints thus far? Can you post a couple more pics showing how it's held up? One of my concerns is how much the tinted window over the headlight affects the lights brightness. Would you be able to help out and elaborate on that for me?
Thanks again!
