Some softails I love , others are just ok. I've never been a joiner...one reason I bought a Low Rider rather than a Fat Boy, even when they were white hot....I wanted something different.

My first bike was a 2001 Wide Glide. After 3 years, I changed it for a 2004 Electraglide CVO. The CVO was awesome but I was missing something, the dyna! Last year I bought a 2007 StreetBob and since then, I'm a happy men. Dyna are fun to drive bikes. They are light, fast, shakingand handling is wow! Just love my dyna!

I waited for my HD for a very long time (ok I'm not that old but...) Anyway, I was pretty much set on a Fatboy. I finally decided to purchase while deployed to Iraq and started doing research and browsing all the bikes HD had to offer. I was torn between the Nighttrain, Fat Boy, Street Bob and Fat Bob. While home on leave I went to the dealership and sat on the Fat Bob and knew it was the bike I wanted and havent looked back. For me I think my initial primary motivation for a Fat Boy was that it appeared to be the premier bike (had a few friends who had one).

In my opinion the street bob is one sick looking bike. I just love the look and feel of my Fat Bob, rough, unrefined, mean, aggressive and built to be rode. Huh, just like some women I've dated!

I ride with a buddy and he has an o7 nighttrain and it looks good but when we ride he constantly stares at my bike and wishes his bike would vibrate, I get nothing but compliments on my old school look , 07 street bob denim with red wheels and grips

never heard a word spoken about my bike in a negative manner whatsoever. Matter of fact, I could just be vain (doubt it though...I'm too smart to be vain), but I have seen it turn heads at times as I go screamin' by!

I ride with a couple of dressers and I am kidded about my SG. They know to take it easy on me about it. I say this becuase the next words heard are;"Are you getting better than 43 MPG yet?" Because I am getting 56-59 MPG and I love it!.

We have fun with each other and NO HARM is ever intended. We bought what we bought for personal reasons. I looked for over three hours one Saturday afternoon at the dealership's inventorybefore deciding on my SG. Didn't even test ride the thing. Signed the papers two days later, bought a new helmet and rode it home.

Ride it and have fun!

I kinda get that "wanna-be bike" from the baggers I ride with. Also, I think that Dynas have the smallest accessory section in the Harley parts catalog. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE my Dyna, with its quickness and agility - but my bike purchase options were limited to what I could touch the ground on! Yes, I know I can lower anything, but it's tough to test ride a bike when your feet are dangling like Edith Ann in her big rocking chair. (I think I just gave my age away.) Now that I'm comfy on the Dyna, there are some things I'd like to dress up and/or add to it, and Harley is NOT my best resource. Guess that's their loss (of revenue).
