When I walked into the showroom for the first time and looked over at a black Wide Glide sittin' there with it's raked out front-end... mini-apes... silver ghost flames... and bobbed rear fender... I pictured myself stretched out on top of that S.O.B. and smiled from ear to ear.
I walked around the showroom, looked at all the bikes. I did this for a few weeks. I kept coming back to the Wide Glide.
Second class nuthin'... This thing is bad to the effin' bone.
But this is my first Harley... hell it's my first bike... so what do I know
You're the most interesting, most intelligent man I've ever read on this forum
When I bought my Fat Bob a month ago, I could have bought any bike on the floor, but this is the one that caught my eye and rode awesome! If I was going to spend $30,000.... I would have bought two Fat Bob's! Vivid Black and Black Denim would look sharp side by side in my garage.......

Let's have a little less flirting and get back to the whining that others may not like our choice in bikes.
Oh and by the way I think we all know deep down, the Street Bob is about the coolest looking HD ever created. That's why I got it.
I like them all, but am very happy with my Superglide, after I got it where I wanted it. Love the Softtails, just wish you could get them with a NON counterbalanced motor.
In my opinion the Dyna's are the hottest looking and best
performing bikes that H/D makes. I especially like my
Super Glide Custom. Good gas mileage, excellent handling,
comfortable, 2-up seating. I'd ride thatbaby anywhere.
Most bike for the dollar.
I have friends and family with all different kinds of rides... some are even rice burners, shhhh, don't tell anyone! No one criticizes anyone else's choice. Everyone loves their own bike, and that's as it should be. Who cares what anyone else thinks. Shut up and ride!!

Well said donna, I agree.
I know this thread is all in good fun, but I just get tired of US vs Them....
I'm sure we all ride with a total mix of bikes, no one's is better or worse!
This thread is worthless...
