rigid solo rack/side mounted licence plate nightmare
Hi there, new to the forum.
I have a 2015 Street Bob and after some messing around with various 2 up seats have settled for the solo rack and pillion seat option.
However, installing the rack appears to be an issue due to the side mounted licence plate holder.
Do I need to move the plate to the rear or has anyone managed to squeeze the rack in with the side mount?
Wish Id kept the RSD 2up Boss seat i bought to begin with and ignored her screams

Take a picture of the area and your rack. I'm sure someone may have an innovative solution for you.

We don't know what your talking about without knowing which side mount plate holder your using and/or what rack and pillion set up your using.
Photo's or links to the items your using will help.
The rigid rack works fine with the side mount plate. It has the note in front of the bolt hole for you to run the wires. Unless of course you purchased the quick detach solo rack and not the rigid mount one. Then you need the quick detach hardware and will have to move the plate.
