FXDB Cruise Control from 2016 FXDL
The new 2016 FXDL has an electronic cruise control module connected to left side hand controls - Any chance this set up could be put on the 2016 FXDB? All input welcome

I have hypothesized this from the get go.
Changes would be, throttle-by-wire bar set up, controls (cruise switch), and electronic software and hardware to execute it.
I think the hang-up is the computer side of it. If it's the same ECM with just a software switch then the rest should be rudimentary, and that means the bastards are holding out

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, that seems about right, I forgot about the throttle by wire conversion. Nonetheless, it doesn't seem like a huge stretch at all, and it's kind of aggravating that it's not at least an option with the Street Bob models. sons a *******

My bad, yes this is for the S model. But even more to the point, seems like it could be standard, or at the least an option to have it, Not to mention for the street bob as well.
