When setting fall-away on my FXDXT, I gave the stem nut an extra 1/16 turn. This took care of a wobble I had; was on the advise of a m/c tech instructor...I was afraid a steering damper would just help mask the problem, which was too loose of a steering stem setup.

True...the newer bike manuals are downloadable. 2005 and older are not, so you're at HD's mercy for those. Mine was $60 for 1998 and '99.

I wish I had known they were downloadable before I went and bought the paper one today.....
