Purchasing Advice Needed
Wanted to say thanks to all who chimed in. As of this afternoon I'm the proud owner of an '11 Fat Bob. I'm very pleased with the deal I got which is allowing me to go Stage 1 and stay in budget. If I can make up my mind on the pipes that is. Big Radius 2-2 in black or 2-1 in Chrome.
please skip the "theater" pipes and get some nice pipes. do some research and don't rush. big radius is cliche, tacky, and not worth the box they come in.

Congratulations! Great choice you will love riding. I second the recommendation on waiting on pipes. The slip-ons gives you some growl for now. Have fun investigating all the choices. Exhaust systems are expensive and making the right choice the first time makes sense. Also, the longer you wait the more options come available and you may pick up a used set from a forum member who is making a change. EBAY and the classified section of this forum are your friends.
