That's one of my favorite paint jobs for the SB! As for the fairing, I'm not digging it. I didnt dig it on the LR-S either though.

I dig fairings. I run a MS Gauntlet. I just don't care for the small one. In my head, I just said, 'That's what she said'

Cain't happen. Bad shoulders, the 14's are about all that keeps my left arm from going numb. But I don't entirely disagree.

Phrasing! I'm not 100% on it yet. Gotta get the upper bracket drilled in and see how it rides. That will make or break it.

I hear ya man, I have a messed up left shoulder and have to run 12" Ts, before that it was 14" apes when my bike was more of the bobber style.

It actually isn't an ineffective fairing and does deflect the wind pretty well for what it is...keeps the big pushback off the chest but your head will still catch the wind. I wear a full face helmet so the head breeze doesn't bug me at all.

After pipes and a tune my next mod will be a HD 1/4 fairing.

Just got back from a test ride. Does knock a lot off the chest, and when you're a 50 chest and 24 wide at the shoulders, that was really nice. Lot more wind up top. I didn't have my helmet on, we'll see how that goes. It stays for now.

looks like a nice piece. i've really never went for any fairings or chin spoilers, but what matters is you like it.
