Default I'm About Fed Up

I'm about fed up with my Low Rider. For the past 10 days, I've been stranded 4 times. First time it happened, I rode the bike, shut it off, came out of the store, and I turned the ignition switch on, pushed the starter button, and...................silence...............nothin g. I had lights, etc. but got nothing when I pushed the start button. No sound at all. Tow #1. "Oh," said the dealer, "there's an ignition recall on your bike, that's probably the problem". 4 days later, "bike's done, pick it up." Rode for less than 15 miles...tried to start the bike.....NOTHING. Tow#2. Two days later...."Oh," said the dealer, "your battery cable was loose. Come p/u your bike." Rode it home, parked in garage, next morning....NOTHING. Tow #3. "Two more days later....Well, " said the dealer, "your battery was bad. We gave you a brand new one. Come get your bike." Started to rain on the way home, so I parked it as soon as I got home. Went out this morning, bright sunshine, and........NOTHING. Tow # 4. Dealer just left with the bike, but I'm about fed up. Any ideas what it could be? Bike is new and still under warranty, so this isn't costing me anything, but with less than 2500 miles on it, I'm wondering if I got a lemon. Oh, yeah, bike is throwing code b2121 (starter output open) What's that mean? Any idea?

Nobody has any idea what the problem could be? What does that code mean? Starter output open?

Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the ignition on?

No idea on the issue, but if I recall correctly if the dealer can't fix the same problem after X attempts you can use the lemon law to either get out of it, or get it replaced. Check the lemon law in your state, you may have options.

Makes me wonder if the boys at the dealer know what they are doing.

A little hard to point you in a direction, since you're not the one fixing the bike. The next step would be testing wires, seeing if you have power at the starter relay etc. Maybe a problem with the start switch itself? If the fuel pump is priming I think that eliminates the ignition switch and the kill/run switch.

Hopefully the dealer has a competent tech working on your bike. Sounds like they've shotgunned a couple parts at it, and the bike started after they did that. Hard to know that its not fixed when it starts fine.

Based on the symptoms and the code, I'm going to guess starter, starter switch, starter relay, or somewhere in the wiring connecting those components. Shouldn't be too hard to narrow it down, as long as it's acting up when they're testing it.

I wonder whether the switch itself could be suspect...
