I'm modifying my 2005 FXDI to emulate the FXDX-T with dual Brembo's - installed the classic bags which I got from Leather Pros and match the original design pretty much. I'm looking at installing a blacked out 96ci w/6 speed gear box to complete the look less the fairing, shocks and pipes.

North Cascades National Park (Hwy20) is my favorite ride of all, followed by a few routes here in BC. Dyna's are built for mountain passes and I bet those Michelin Commanders would really stick in the corners - got to get me some.
I've been considering switching to a hydraulic clutch. I haven't done any research yet to see what is involved. I'd love to hear your impressions and read the thread when you make it.

Me too...I'm soon to be due for a clutch refresh, wondering what the benefits, if any, would be...

Hwy 20 is great. Love that road.
Hwy 542 up to Mt. Baker is really nice too. Dead-ends at the summit, but nice ride.

I'll start a thread on my conversion and what was involved. Overall I'm happy with it. The clutch movement is very smooth and is slightly easier to pull, however it might just be my imagination and months of no riding...

Smoother operation, maybe easier to pull (highly debated and people have differing opinions) and self-adjusting.
This will not change the performance of the clutch you choose to run, just how you disengage/engage it.
