Ourlocal HD Dealer is a licensed Rush dealer as well. I guess the Rush pipes work with SE downloads, which makes them appealing. When I was doing my shopping, I think I found them mostly around the $250-280 range, but I might be wrong (got my VH slips for $185 delivered to my door). One thing Rush does have going for them is this site: http://www.epiflex.com/rush_dyna.html. Sound and video of different baffled pipes "in action". I've never seen or heard them in person, so I don't really know how much justice it does for them but it can only help.
Sounds like the Rush and the Krome Werks are the contenders - I just ned to find some on a bike so I can hear them...they gotta sound better than the wet mouse fart stockers though...
Wow, youtube is your friend...I know it's not up close and personal, but youtube has a ton of Harley video/sound clips, some with people specifically saying what pipes they have on. I really like the sound of the Krome Werks - that's exactly what I was looking for. Can't tell what kind of bike it is (too dark) other than it has right hand drive and the post isn't in English: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDd94Rl_5Z4 Really nice, deep sound. Would be nice to see if the motor is a fathead...
