So I have been doing some horse trading and I ended up with a 99 Dyna Low that I'm considering keeping. Someone has installed a front end from a Road King and it just looks terrible to me. Now my first thought was springer, but now I'm considering more of a raked & stretched look. As luck would have it I happen to have a brand new +7" 41mm wide glide front end with 7* trees. Those were for a custom softail that I parted with before completing. Now obviously with the stock neck this front end is kinda impractical, but I'm thinking that with shorter tubes I might be able to use it and give the bike a stretched look while still maintaining proper rake and trail. I don't know much about the geometry involved, hoping someone here can help me out.

I'd remove the RK front end and sell it. Same with the WG front. Unless you have a WG frame...
Get the forks/triple clamps set that are designed for your frame. Messing with "front ends" from different bikes can cause "peculiar handling characteristics" especially in emergency maneuvers. You have to REALLY know your stuff to make it work. I mean REALLY KNOW YOUR STUFF.
