Hey guys new to the site just wanted to say whats going on.
Had a quick question I have a 2004 fxdl and my buddy is giving me his hd 1/4 fairing off of his 2015 fxdb. Just wondering what I would need to get that think mounted up. he has a 49mm and I have a 39mm. Some quick info or parts page would be cool thanks!
Man, I have the 39mm mounting kit that Harley sells, AND the correct 39mm brackets for the fairing. Dealer screwed up, and sold me the wrong thing, and I opened them, and finger banged them. They wont take them back. Go to the HD site, and search the 39mm kit for HD fairings. I will make you the deal of a lifetime.
Wish we had met before I bought the 49mm kit!

When mounting the HD 1/4 fairing on a 39mm front end all you need is the docking hardware H-D P/N 58164-96A or (P/N 574000-06) assuming you have the OEM 39mm bracket for the fairing, if not you will need to find that as well. I'm almost positive that the OEM 39mm bracket is different than the aftermarket bracket required to mount the fairing to a 49mm front.
hey hdconvert511 how much for the kit? where you located?
I am in WA. I will gather all of that up, shoot a picture and email it to you. PM me with your email addy. I need to find that invoice from House of Harley, but it will be half of that
