Going on a road trip to a buddy's place to remove hie rear tire to take to get inner tube replaced. Can someone tell me fastener sizes of axle nut, pulley and rotor bolts. thanks
I don't have the axle nut size handy,, which I know is not helpful... But why remove the rotor and pulley?????? you will need to remove the belt guard and brake caliper,so you will need those tools also..Sounds like he needs a repair manual
the non-harley repair joint out by him will not put rim/tire combo on their machine with pulley and rotor on rim (so he says). He lives out past the last cornfield on the left, so when I make the 30+ mile drive I'd like to be certain I have all the right sizes of wrenches/sockets. I told him in no uncertain terms yesterday the service manual is the first thing you buy for your bike. The plus side of all this **** is I think he's finally had it with stealership mucho dinero dry humps!
I'm guessing what 1" rear axle? My 08 XBones has a factory mix of standard and metric fasteners, hence my query.
I could help with a '99, but the axles changed in 2000. Can't help there.
My pulley had hex cap screws. Rotor was Torx drive button caps. Neither were stock fasteners. I can get the wrench sizes tonight but I'm not sure they'll help you much.
