I have seen very few fairings that make a bike look bad, there not always the perfect fit, but if it makes the rider happy that's all that matters. I ride with my Batwing mostly because I do a ton of distance riding and enjoy not being beat down after a while days worth of riding. When I know I'm not going anywhere for a while, I'll pull it off and enjoy the wind. For me it's about the riders functional needs to enjoy his or her ride.

Idiotic.....no, cross Atlantic biker discourse - what could be more compelling? At least it's a break from the turmoil we are picking up here as regards current American disorder and at home, fractured British politics! We are not as far apart philosophically as you think - you might be flattered to learn with what high regard HD is held amongst my circle of friends here in Wales!

I LIKE that! Even the exhaust system is perfect. I think that should be your next bike, right there!

I never have preferred the look of a windshield or fairing. But the functionality of either make riding much more enjoyable, and much less fatiguing for me. If I was just a bar hopper, fine. But I do cover some serious miles at high speeds, so I have a windshield on one bike and a fairing on the other.
