Default tip sensor?

hey guys first post,
did some searching around here for my question found a little but figured id ask for your guys inputs

i have a 2015 FXDB and twice while on the freeway the bike has shut off and reds (t i p) on the speedo. both times it has happened was with my girl on the back, had to pull over cycle the ignition and it starts right back up.

any reason this is happening? or how to troubleshoot it? a way to bypass the tip sensor?

thanks in advance and sorry if this is a common question, was having trouble locating the right info

if it's that new, the bike should still be under warranty. the tip sensor should not be kicking in while riding down the road.

The sensor is part of the TTS (turn signal module) or TSSM if your bike has security. Make sure module is seated correctly and in its original location. If all is,good get it to a shop

On looking through my manual, it looks like Dynas use the BCM (body control module) rather than a TSM or TSSM ever since they went to CAN Bus in 2012. The BCM is mounted behind the electrical caddy cover on the left side of the bike, under the seat. It's a large, flat piece that should be mounted horizontally above the fuseblock. To confirm it's the correct piece, take it out while it's still plugged into the bike. With the engine running, turn the module on its side. If the bike shuts off and reads "tip" on the speedo, you're holding the BCM. The ECM will think the whole bike just fell over.
