Edit: Lets see what Cvaria comes back with. At least I can send the filter and cover if he prefers the black backplate.
*and for full disclosure, I can not take full credit. I can't remember where, but I saw the drill and tap for the hose barb fitting here last year. However I WILL take FULL credit for the set screw plug of the oil passage! The other guy filled it with silicone or some ****.

I think (that you would think) that if you were going to go that deep in $$, you would just go a little farther and get that inverted frontend.

in that case, yes.... the inverted softail frontend would be the move with that being the case
