Default Verdict on riser bushings?

i had hd poly riser bushings in the bike that just died and they were on of the most noticeable differences in the ride over stock.... like night and day.... no more bouncing bars.

i got them new for $20 and i'm not having that kind of luck right now. surdyke has them for 32 but, i see alloy arts out there for around the same price.... basically - are there any in the same range i should be looking at that are of the same quality?

If you don't need the hardware, Drag Specialties has poly bushings for 1/3 the price. I have them on my FB bars and they work just fine - solid, secure feeling with no increase in vibes.

I got the Alloy Art ones off of Amazon for fairly cheap if I remember right.

How long did you have them for? I thought they were suppose to last longer than regular bushings.

Unfortunately his big beautiful beastie died in a terrible moment HERE She will be missed....

I've always preferred the solid mount riser bushings but they do tend to be more expensive than the poly riser bushings...

Did you find the solid mount riser bushings to push through a lot more vibration?

I don't notice any added vibration through the grips or mirrors. I like the fact that the bars/risers are rigidly mounted, the chrome bushings look nice, and I'll never have to worry about them degrading and needing to be replaced

This is what I'm using: LA Choppers solid chrome riser bushings
