I have degenerative disc disease and I've found my Mustang solo is pretty comfortable but its huge and sits me up high, nice for bump roads but I really would prefer a seat like this http://shop.endscuoio.it/epages/6762...Selle_per_Dyna
My question is would adding air suspension smooth out the ride and make it tolerable with a seat like this, or should I just suck it up and keep the Mustang as my permanent seat?
I have 2 discs that are messed up and my Low Rider S seat has been fine, but the shocks on my bike eat up the bumps. If you want the lower seat, make sure your shocks are taking the rest or you will be in a world of hurt. I dropped 200 miles on my 48 one day and was in some pain. I did 2600 miles on the Low Rider S over a weekend and I felt great when I got home.
I would suggest getting your suspension sorted. This way you can do some comparison with your current seat. Then if all is good take the plunge into that super cool look of that solo seat. Sit ups man,sit ups!
lol sit ups I hear ya easier said than done, way to many issues from my active duty days. I refuse to give up my wind therapy until I'm in a wheelchair.
