There really is a mystical beauty in a Wide Glide that separates it from the rest of the hogsand ishard to define. Every time I arrive from work,I always look at it with awe. Can't explain why. Must be the entirety of its ergonomics that overwhelms!
The Wide Glide's and Lowriders have a bit more rake in the frame; otherwise it's trim...like they say, buy what you want; you'll be happier and money ahead in the long run. My brother and I have done fairly major changes to two Dyna's now and it can get expensive...as for E-Bay; I only look at the prices being bidat the end of the auction to see what they're "worth"...
The Wideglide frame has a 34 degree neck, the rest of the dynas use the same frame.
The Dynas use the rubber mounted "A" motor, with internal oil tank and lines, The Softails use the rigid mount "B" motor, with an external oil tank and lines. the Softails have an internal counterbalancer to reduce engine vibrations and steal power from the rear wheel.
The Dynas all ride and handle better. The Superglide is the hotrod of the bunch, but they all hold their own.
