Hello everybody

I have my superglide custom for two weeks.... I was in a bussiness trip.. for that reason I haven't had time to drive my bike.... but this weekend I going to take a trip (I hope)....

the question is

I was installing a new footpegs... and I see a cable behind the air cleaner...

this is the picture....

WHAT IT IS THAT? it is hoisting....

IT IS NORMAL? remember it is a new harley....

(As you can see I don't know anything about mechanic)...

Could you help me with that?

I have to go (in my first trip) to a dealer?????

I dont know what it is but my 06 street bob has one also may be a test plug of some kind

It is normal to not be connected on a US model. The over sea models have a electric flap to the air cleaner housing that the wire connector your looking at would go to. So no worries, your bike is good to go.

The connector should have a push plug attached that fits in a hole in the stock backing plate...The SE plates don't have the hole...3/8" drill bit will take care of that and keep it tucked up nicely out of site...
