Awesome you found a solution to the mirror problem. Now I won't be considered hi-jacking the thread when going off topic. Do you do a good amount of two-up riding? If so is any of it for a good distance/time (7+hrs)? How does you lady enjoy the seat? I ask because I like the look of the Squareback and want to find something my lady will be comfy on when riding all day.
I have the C&C squareback as well. For me its great, its a firmer seat, even with the gel in it. Would not recommend for a passenger for any great length of time as its not very wide at all. I can take some measurements if you need me to. The C&C sport tour would suit you better for 2 up riding.

LOL, no worries
Unfortunately I do no 2 up at all. I got that seat and passenger pegs in case my wife ever let my son get on but she's not there yet! She herself is a control freak so while she intends to learn to ride her own bike at some point she wont get on the back.
The feedback I've heard is that the Squareback is good for short jaunts, couple hours or so, but the Sport Tour (same profile for driver and back support) is better for longer trips (wider passenger pillion).
Of course you could go with the squareback but ask C&C to do a gel insert or extra padding for the passenger without widening the profile.
