I have a 2006 Street Bob with forward controls. I just bought a Kuryakyn Forward Control Extension kit(PN KY-9062) from CruiserCustomizing.com and it bolted right up. The only trouble I had was one of the factory hex bolts rounded out and I had to grind the head of it off to get the foot peg off. So far I haven't had any trouble.

The linkages which came with the KY-9062 were long enough? Supposedly the linkages for the 06 and 07 need to be longer than what comes in that kit.

Everything hooked up ok. I've got rear brakes and I can shift, so.... The only thing that I don't really like is that the shift linkage has flexible balljoints at each end, which alone would be fine, but the linkage rod has an offset bend and causes the rod to "roll" on those balljoints, rather than set at a 90 degree angle like the stock rod. Personal pet peeve only though...

My Kuryakins are pretty sweet. Didn't like the ball joints either but they work and they fit me.
