new to me 01 FXD 2-up prep work
just my opinion
dont spend to much time on the FUBAR cv carb. get the mikuni "easy" and drop the $400. get a pingle fuel valve on close out now for $70. get a set of "16 apes from J&P for $70 bucks and a detachable windscreen for long trips. im 6"2 on a 01 FXDWG. just sayin!

Got the tach kit installed. Also got +2" risers and stock sporty/dyna handlebars. The dyna wobble in the straight line at 75 stopped.
Feels lIke a totally different bike. Now I can throw it into the corners without issues. Those buckhorns were scary

stock sporty/dyna bars with +2" risers turned it into another bike from grandpa buckhorn step-child.
now that i got my 13" shocks and touring seat on... way better.
the pass seat can be removed too for the solo look.
the shocks did great! feels very stable, they JUST clear the V&H straight shots.
shocks took me and my girl at number 3 pre-load out of 6.
did not ride solo yet so i will have to report later on that.
added newer style mirrors too. tach install was stupid simple.
