Will my Progressive piggy back 970s affect my Progressive monotubes so severely that it feels like the front suspension will bottom out?
I put my monotubes on tonight and I have no idea how they are supposed to feel but I think this isn't right.
While there can be enough of a difference between front and rear shocks that there can be issues, I doubt it's the problem you are having.. Is it possible that you used a lowered monotube with full length shock in the back? Have you checked sag front and rear.. Could you have assembled something wrong? Added too much oil to the forks? Are the sliders binding on the tubes? IIRC the kit is shipped with protective covers between the springs and damping rods. There they removed?

Yeah I have checked and double checked all of this stuff and no they are stock height with 13.5" rear shocks.
Have you tried calling their Tech Support? They could probably better help you. There was a thread posted some time ago with a couple of posts regarding issues with their mono tubes, and one of their reps posted back trying to help. If I recall correctly they didn't like the brake dive they were getting.
I haven't personally seen a lot of praise for that product. A couple guys even removed them and went back to stock while searching for a better product.

I just got off the phone with them and they recommend I ride it through out the weekend and see how it feels after I get more miles on the suspension. We will see how that goes. Hopefully it fixes itself or I am just nuts and am over reacting.
