that fairing has the NASTIEST ORANGE PEEL I have even seen

Yes ... it did have a really nasty orange peel ... it started out as a stock flat black one that had a nasty texture on it to begin with .. I have since sanded and buffed it a LOT .. there is still a little peel in it but it looks every bit as good now as any I have seen painted stock by Harley
