My dealer is closing out stock on various V&H mufflers and pipes. The only thing in the pile that applies to me is a set of chrome short shots. Not my first choice but I'll admit I do like how they look. Anyway, they are offering them at $381 out the door. My thought was possibly doing those along with DK customs TTI's.
What's the consensus on these at that price? Is it a deal or is it "move along folks"?
Another thought after calling DK customs is possibly gutting my muffler and then adding the TTI's. I have the feeling that might be too hollow sounding and too much loss of low end torque.
They're certainly not doing you any sort of favors with that price...
The #1800-1416 V&H Short Shot's for '12 - up are $381.95 shipped for free from Phat Performance... stay away from the dealer and buy what you really want; the dealer's only job is to separate you from as much money as they can all the while making you believe they're your best friends
I lucked out on my short shots a dealer was having a clearance event and there was a set brand new in the box for $200. and I still paid too much. After dealing with the exhaust for about a year I finally decided to get the dk customs TTI, and... still hate them. I vote hard pass
If I had em ld get a chrome set and scotch brite em. THEN,put a band saw to the ends and cut the bologna off the ends to look like this. Then they wouldn't look like all the others out there.
