Default O2 sensors?

I'm running a 2012 FXDWG with the TTS tuning kit and I have a P0051 FC, best I can find a rear sensor is out.

I'm running a Rineheart 2 into 1 exhaust and it has the 18mm bung, the sensors are 12mm and it looks like a adapter was added.

I have a set of adapters that should make the 12mm sensor fit, but there is almost nothing sticking out th adapter end.

I did a search and it appears to be a common problem, but other than trying the adapters and hoping it works, I didn't see an alternative??

Is it possible to use 18mm sensors?
Would they have to be narrow band?

Waiting for Monday to call the dealer that did this to see what they say.

Here's pictures of what I have going so far.

TIA

Al

I was presented with a similar issue but just the opposite. I wanted to install an exhaust system with 12 MM bungs on my FXDC which was equipped with 18 MM sensors.

First, your DTC needs to be diagnosed, if it is a O2 sensor heater circuit problem I don't see how the adapter could be blamed.

I considered the adapters but decided to go with the mod listed below as I was concerned about the O2 sensor obtaining an adequate sample.

This link will take you to a post describing how I solved the issue on my bike. You are dealing with going the opposite so you need a heated 18 MM O2 sensor that you can splice into the connector from your OEM 12 MM heated sensor. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...l#post15418442

I hope this is helpful and Good Luck.

Thanks, finding the sensors just threaded in and not tight was enough to redo them, I'll deal with further problems if replacing sensors doesn't cure the FC.
A bit of disassembly was required to get my hands and in enough to remove sensors, so I'd like to do this while the bike is apart

I see the 15725 fitment but am not seeing what 18mm sensor I need, can you help there?
I'm assuming a 18mm heated one, correct?
And will it work with the TTS master tune 2?
You'd think it should, uh huh.

Once again, thanks much.

The Bosch kit I used is a universal and did have 18MM sensors but they were three wire sensors. I did not care since I purchased the kits only to have the connectors. In your case you will want a four wire heated 18MM sensor. Search for a Bosch four wire universal Oxygen Sensor kit. You will want to check the heater circuit resistance to verify that it is similar to your OEM 12MM heater resistance.
