I'd go a long with that, on most bikes they are going to serve no real purpose other than the owner likes the looks. Tom me a nice set of chrome or black pipes look 20 times better than wrapped pipes. But thats just me, to each their own
Well, my bike is bone stock except for the sissy bar, because my girl won't ride without it ( and I don't blame her ) and I had a quarter fairing because I commute 30 miles of interstate each way for work and it made it a better ride. ( and anyone who fights 30 miles of 70mph windblast every day only because he's afraid of what people think is a poser anyway in my book )
x2 on a sissy bar. i dunno how any girl could deal with being on a harley without one. pure torque.
see i have mixed feelings on screens. i like em and when you get the right size it helps without turning the front end into a sail.
being in the bay area theres plenty of crazy strong winds around here.
another reason solid wheels can be a problem

I had that wind problem on my Sporty Custom. The solid rear wheel caught so much wind in the country that sometimes my back end felt like it getting a little loose from the road. Being on a Sporty didn't help either though.
