Batwing fairing
Fishtails (sound like garbage, don't belong on anything...)
Picnic bench-sized windshield
Turn signals (no one in CA pays attention anyway, you really think they're going to see an adorable little blinking light?)
Springer front end (buy a softail)
This thread is turning in to something that will make the touring and trike guys cry...
It'll actually offended most people.... The responses are covering the spectrum of Dyna styles on this forum. I personally think its great to see all the different opinions, but someone is bound to start crying at some point... We all have too much of a personal connection to out machines to not take something a littler personal.
Anyhow... I will never say never, but I highly doubt tassels, studs, or skulls will make it on mine. Oh, and a ducktail fender.
When I got my bike it was a write-off for rear-end impact causing frame damage (minimal bend in the fender strut.) Best thing that happened was that hideous duck-*** rear fender was FUBAR. I can add that to the list...lol
I will never put a faring, windscreen or saddle bags. I have no issue with them and my next bike hopefully soon will be a Road Glide with all the above mentioned items (although the WG will not be going away) but they just don't look right to me on a WG. With that said if someone else adds any of that to a Dyna it makes no difference to me as it is not my bike. As long as they are happy with their add ons no one else should be concerned

I would agree, there is a special stance about the WG that just shouldn't be fked with by adding bags and a windshield.
If money wasn't an object, I am sure I'd have a streamlined WG in my garage sitting next to my DB with the removable fairing and bags. I love the fact that I can take all the functional stuff off in about 90 seconds... Versatility is why Dynas rule!
