twofish or scarab75: Curious, why did you guys install this? The only place I can figure where it would be beneficial is sustained speeds around 90 MPH (notice some wobble at that speed). Beyond that Dynas in general handle pretty well IMO.
Looks good. I have been considering installing one on my Street Bob but wonder if they are effective. I feel that they would help steady the bike in high speed sweepers where I start to pick up some wobble. Some of the rural roads here in N. California are poorly maintained and I pick up what feels like a lot of vibration in the front end. I wonder if the brace would help. Any thoughts?
Thanks.
This is what thesales fellas will tell ya, thats what's on ther web site.
Reduces low and high speed wobbles.
Improves stability in tight cornering.
Improves tire life and reduces cupping.
Decreases sensitivity to rough road surfaces and rain grooves.
I'm with scarab75 ... worth every penny, in looks alone but its got functionality as well.
Damn finemod IMHO
I got the Kuryakyn for my switchblade, just like the style better
I have other friends who ride dyna's & fxr's who swear by them. Back in December superbrace had the group buy prices so I figured what the heck. Its a well made piece thats cheaper than the HD one plus it looks alot better too! I could really feel the effects after I installed it. The road feel was better, the front end feels more square in the turns and yes the high speed runs are straight as an arrow (the desert in Arizona last month proved that, we rode 85+ for at least 75 miles no wobbles or weird movements). I know some here question these, but for me I won't be taking it of anytime soon.
