If you don't care about looks she loves the seat. It just looks big when she's not on it.
Yeah...and take your seat off - there'll be scratches all up and down your rear fender

Thats what I've been reading... I have a set of Streetglide shocks, but a buddy said he would either bottom out really easy or it would be as hard as just going hardtail. Something something something angle is wrong.

You can "pump them up" enough not to bottom but there will be no damping ability. Reminded me of a 55' Caddy with no front shocks the way it "floated" down the road. And I even tried changing to a much heavier oil. It is not only angle, the shocks are attached several inches in front of the axle so leverage messes with them.
I have some stock FXDF shocks that I took off to replace with Progressive 412's. I think I'm taking the Progressives off soon to replace with something else. Let me know if you're interested...
Dude, check out C&C for a seat. I'm running their SportTour & the OL digs it as much as I do. Stand-up folks to do business with & top-shelf seats, IMO. Carpeted base, as well. No rubber bumpers, but hasn't scratched my paint once in the 2+ years I've had it. My seat, with the custom leather, stitching & re-covering the sissy bar pad, plus shipping ran right at what you'll pay for an off the shelf Corbin or Lepera.

Ooooooo. I may have to give them a call to see what the difference is between the sport tour and the squareback, but I think you just sold me on it.
The fxdf shocks are rubbish, they are standard Harley shocks with a fancy cover, if you put them on you will be in exactly the same position but with less money. The Hagon shocks work well, come in lots of lengths and weights and if you go for the Nitros they look great.
