Always wanted to slim a Dyna down with an early Superglide or an XL tank for a Dyna...Roland sands made XL tanks for Softails and Zero Engineering made an XL tank for big twins; I'm sure there have been others. But, none available now so it could be quite a fab job...looks great though. I thought of trying one of the large XL tanks; if I could find one cheap at a swap meet. Online is pretty expensive shipping for an experiment...

You don't think the wide hips of a big twin swingarm bike make a skinny tank look odd? I dig a little tank on a rigid frame but I think they look unbalanced on a Dyna. Plus...holy gas stops!

I love Rough Crafts style. They're right up there with Rocket Bob. That bike looks great in profile except for the mangled barebones seat and Ness-style (Demons?) forks.

Agree...I really like the XL "48" model; this is kind of a big block version...could easily do my Fat Bob similar if/when I retire it from touring.
