So I figured it out. Two days earlier I topped up my oil to almost the top of the dipstick when hot. Oil was backing into intake system coating the TPS sensor causing it to stall at idle. So I removed a little oil and cleaned sensor. Now it runs fine again

 

Robottom, hey, I just saw this thread while I was trying to find info on replacing my TPS on 2009 Low Rider fxdl. Is your procedure for initialization the same for my bike? I have the service manual and electrical diagnostic manuals and I am looking for this procedure in those manuals but when I came cross this I thought I'd ask hoping you might see my question before I take too much time hunting for the right info. Thanks for any help.

 

sartech86, how did that work out for you cahnging your TPS? I'm in the same baot right now, getting ready to change it on my 2009 Low Rider but want to make sure I dothe "initialization" correct if necessary. Already asked Robottom on here about that procedure he listed and am waiting for a response from him. I figured it can't hurt to get info from more than oe source and if you suceeded with your replacement, you might be able to help with useful info. Thanks.
