Default Screaming Eagle Plug Wires

I bought my '07 Street Bob a few weeks ago and had the Screaming Eagle 103ci Big Bore Kit installed. I decided I wanted to add the 8mm Screaming Eagle spark plug wires as well to round it off.

Coming off the coil pack is a plastic wire loom or clip that hold the wires together before the short wire connects to the rear cylinder and the long wire to the front cylinder.

Since the factory wires are probably 6mm and the SE wires are 8mm, the little clip doesn't fit (too small). What is everyone else using to hold the wires together?

Also, I searched all the local auto stores looking for "push mount cable ties", these are used by the factory to hold the long wire to the horn mount to keep it off the engine. Does the dealer or service department have the correct cable ties?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I think JP Cycles has a two piece clamp [chrome] for such things....... I may have even seen these in the dealers as well.

The intended purpose was as a replacement for those black clip things.

I had the same problem when I put new plugs on my 98. I ended up having the parts guy look for any wire clamp in the parts book and bring out each one. They didn't actually list the horn bracket one, but I was able to get a slightly different one slightly larger in diameter.

I just routed them so they dont touch any part of the engine.Make the bike look nice as I have the red ones to match the bike paint.

I got the correct cable tie from the dealer. They are called "Fir Tree Cable Ties" is you Google to find the right one. I paid $2.00 for (4) of them.

I also ordered the Arlen Ness plug wire seperator from jpcycyles.com http://www.jpcycles.com/productgroup...All&page=1

Thanks everyone for their help and input.
