Default Screaming eagle plug wires

I have screaming eagle orange plug wires and I'm moving my coil. I can't find the right length in orange so I bought another set of orange, so can I cut down the two long wires to fit and put new ends back on? Thanks for any info.

I have done it many times successfully, but having worked as a mechanic earlier in life, I have all the tools needed to make plug wires from scratch. The trick is note how the connection is made and reproduce it when you crimp the ends on. Generally the insulation is stripped back and the conductor exposed and folded over under the crimp. I use a razor blade to gently cut through the insulation to expose the conductor and then crimp the new end on. Don't forget to slide the wire boot on before you crimp the end.

Default Wire ends

Thanks for the info. Would you know where to get new ends to put on the wire? I'm just gonna shorten the two long wires so I'm only gonna change the ends on the coil side?
