Passenger pegs
I have a 2012 Superglide and want to remove the brackets
that hold the passenger pegs. If you have removed them
what did you do with the chain guard that bolts to the
peg bracket? I would like to keep it on if I can.

There is a chain guard bracket without the peg mount, just a tab. That is how mine was, stock

Y ou have a 49230-06 Foot peg bracket, and belt guard mount. If you want to delete the passenger foot pegs, and mount ht belt guard, you'll need part number 49216-06. List price is $10, but Iam sure you can find one cheep, or even free. Plenty of FXDB owners ditch the solo setup, and add rear foot pegs. You could most defiantly sell your peg mounts and make plenty of cash to get that part.
