Default Remove passenger pegs

I bought the bike used set up for 2-up, which I never do, so I figured I'd streamline things a bit. I already got a second-hand stock solo Street Bob seat. Providing I like that I will probable just take off the passenger pegs.

Is there something I should put in the empty mounting holes, or just leave it?

You can get the little black plugs from Harley for 30 cents each and if you want to keep your belt guard you will need a $9 bracket

Your gonna need the L bracket for the front of the upper belt guard if you don't have one.

Thumbs up

None of the above suggestions! The entire passenger footrest assembly is held on with two screws out if sight under the bike. Remove that and the bike will look a whole lot cleaner. No holes to see or fill, because they will be on a shelf in your garage! That is where mine are.

Did the same with my 2007 2nd hand Street Bob

The belt guard is indeed using the footrest as support, since I didn't have the "L" bracket and wanted a more "lighter" look I just didn't put the belt guard back ! same for the lower guard
(10k miles since and no probems at all...)

As for the 2x2 holes in the swingarm I've put black screws in them to avoid water and dirt, also to have a cleaner look than just holes !

The passenger pegs are mounted on top of the swingarm for that year. Removing them will expose the two bolt holes... on top of the swingarm... in full view.
