so can anyone confirm the actual country of origin for 3/4" harley sealed wheel bearings?
my local dealer has zero in stock (wtf) and the F.A.G. made in canada bearings are NLA.
the size is kinda weird and after calling bearing houses and googling like crazy i have only found two actual bearings you can buy that are of quality.
INA F390598 made in germany but spendy around $40 each plus shipping
NACHI 6205/W12-2NSEmade in japan and cheap. a online bearing house in california has them for $13 each
sorry i didnt spend the time looking up 1" axle stuff and im not sure if that is easier or harder to find. with the 25mm axles i dont think there is a issue finding bearings.

found out by calling another dealer with stock on the shelf...
ones being sold now are made in slovakia, they are INA F390598
the nachi bearings may not be up to the task after more research...

What is the difference between angular contact bearings and deep groove ball bearings? Deep groove ball bearings are a non-separable type bearing with the line connecting contact points of the inner ring, steel ball, and outer ring of 0ş in the radial direction. They are designed to take mainly radial loads but can handle some axial load in either direction. Angular contact bearings are also a non-separable type. The line connecting contact points of the inner ring, steel ball, and outer ring creates an angle with the line drawn in the radial direction called the contact angle. Angular contact bearings can accommodate relatively heavy axial loads in one direction in addition to radial loads. The larger the contact angle, the larger the axial loading capacity becomes.

The Nachi bearing is the wrong size.. It's a good bearing for 08-up wheels as the dimensions are correct.

This looks like a good bearing, proper width and ID.. Looks to have the better seals..
