Default Going back to stock exhaust question.

I put the stock exhaust back on my '06 Dyna Super Glide, came with Vance & Hines short shots and a Power Commander 5. Do I need to connect the oxygen sensors ? They were not connected with the V&H setup and a plug placed in the stock wiring harness connector.

The PC-5 does not use the O2 sensors. That's why they weren't plugged in.

That's what I thought. So I shouldn't connect the O2 sensors and download the map for stock for the PC-5 and I should be good to go right ?

Yes Just download a stock map for the PC5. The reason the PC5 doesn't use the sensors is that the PC5 is adding fuel so the oxygen sensor will detect that and try to correct it. Essentially fighting the PC5.

Got the stock exhaust on and she seems to run fine with the existing mapping from the V&H exhaust. Didn't get a chance to ride cuz it was raining. Didn't misfire or anything, but I'm skeptical. I downloaded the stock map from the Power Commander website. Do you think it'll make a difference if I install it on the PC5 ?

Personally, I'd download the stock map, hook the 02 sensors back up, and take the Power Commander off the bike.
