You win a trophy for your welding skills, what I'm looking at are textbook titanium welds with light straw coloration in the heat affected zones... PERFECT and extremely difficult to do with that many welds that close together, without burning the properties out of the material.

Thanks sir! The little blue patches are from me being impatient and not caring about my torch angle as much as I should.
Im skipping around a bit now, This was from earlier in the build when we were roughing out side fairing designs. It's really rough in the picture and I took the picture from under a work table haha but we were very concerned about proportions on this bike, harley's are big bikes and making a side fairing look natural on the bike is a lot harder than one would thing. The entire reason for the FXRP style fairing was because Luke and I always thought it looked unfinished. even with harley lower fairings on it, it still looks half-way done to me. So this is the shape we came up with. The foot controls will be mid/rear sets, basically the foot peg will be located in the center of the trans trap door. That position gives a real natural feeling while sitting on the bike and doesn't make you put all of your weight on your wrists.
Some glamour shots from when we finally had the body worked dialed in and got the bike on the ground. Still a lot of little things that need to happen with the bike in this stage, but you get the main idea of what we were aiming for.
