Exclamation Need help 2012 streetbob

Hey guys, new to the forum deal so bare with me. I have a 2012 street bob I've had about 6 months bought it with 5k on it from my local dealer has about 8k on it now. One day I was riding about 30-40 mph and went to downshift and as I pulled the clutch in it died, once I stopped started it back up and I had to keep playing the throttle limped it back home about 30 miles and it was fine and haven't had the issue again. But I got to noticing how i had to turn it over about 4 seconds til it would start, sometimes it'll just turn over and not ever fire up. Like it has a real weak battery but they installed a new battery before I bought it (or said they did) I'm a tractor trailer mechanic but I'm not good with electrical not do I know much about bikes. But if you let it sit about 4 days it will crank for about 5 or 6 seconds and never fire up. I took it to a local dealer and they said it was fine bring it back if it does it again. I'm easily frustrated so it gets me very angry when it doesn't start. So any help would be much appreciated. Bike is stock

Sounds like a weak battery, are you using a battery tender, if not and it sits many days between rides the battery will go down. Have the battery checked out on a load tester.

Charge the battery fully and get it load tested.
Also check the connections at the battery and the ground. It's right above the starter.

Check all the wire connections you can find. Especially the battery cables...these bikes like to loosen battery cables.

Lower right of engine as you're looking at it from the front, is the crank sensor...make sure its plugged in tight.
